Can I reschedule pickup?

Yes. LightSpeedBid allows sellers to reschedule pickup at any time, whether it is hours before your appointment or even last minute. Life changes quickly, schedules shift, weather happens, and LightSpeedBid’s towing network is built to adapt.

You may want to reschedule for reasons such as:

  • You will not be home
  • You need more time to remove personal items
  • The vehicle became temporarily inaccessible
  • A gate, garage, or property manager is not available
  • Weather conditions interfere
  • You had an emergency
  • You need to coordinate with a mechanic or storage facility
  • You want a specific time window or day

Rescheduling is simple. You can:

  • Reply to your pickup confirmation message
  • Contact the tow partner directly
  • Request a new time through LightSpeedBid support

Tow companies typically offer new time slots the same day, next day, or within 48 hours. LightSpeedBid’s system will automatically send updated tracking information and confirm your new appointment.

There is no rescheduling fee for normal adjustments. The only time cancellations may incur a fee is when:

  • A tow truck is already in transit
  • A commercial fleet pickup requires a special truck
  • A remote or off-road recovery truck was dispatched
